수많은 최초와 포용적 혁신을 이루어가며 사회를 변화시켜 온 이화여자대학교는 

창립 140주년을 맞이해 이화글로벌사회공헌원(EGISE)과 함께 「2026 Planetary Health Forum」을 개최합니다. 


이화의 나눔과 공존의 가치를 바탕으로, 기후와 지구건강의 미래를 함께 고민하고 새로운 아이디어와 협력을 모색하는 뜻깊은 자리에 여러분을 초대합니다. 🌱


“Transforming Climate Futures and Empowering Citizens: A UniverCity Initiative for Planetary Health”를 주제로, 국제기구, 정부, 학계, 기업, 시민사회, 청년이 함께 참여하여 협력적이고 실행 가능한 대응 전략을 논의합니다. 특히 ‘UniverCity’ 개념을 통해 도시와 대학 기반의 협력 모델을 제시하고, Planetary Health Declaration & Pledge를 통해 공동의 책임과 행동을 촉진하고자 합니다.


아울러 기후, ESG, SDGs 및 국제사회 주요 이슈에 관심을 갖고 계신 학생 및 기관 실무자 여러분의 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여를 부탁드립니다.

Ewha Womans University, which has led social transformation through numerous firsts and inclusive innovation, 

is pleased to host the 「2026 Planetary Health Forum」 in celebration of its 140th anniversary, 

together with the Ewha Global Institute for Sustainable Partnership and Empowerment (EGISE). 


Grounded in Ewha’s values of sharing and coexistence, we warmly invite you to this meaningful forum to reflect on the future of climate and planetary health, and to explore new ideas and collaborative solutions. 🌱


Under the theme “Transforming Climate Futures and Empowering Citizens: A UniverCity Initiative for Planetary Health,” the forum will convene stakeholders from international organizations, government, academia, the private sector, civil society, and youth to discuss actionable and collaborative strategies. In particular, it will present the “UniverCity” concept as a platform for integrated cooperation between cities and universities, and aim to foster collective responsibility and action through the Planetary Health Declaration & Pledge.


We sincerely encourage the active interest and participation of students and practitioners who are engaged in or interested in climate action, ESG, the SDGs, and broader global challenges.
